State minister for information and broadcasting Senator Anisa Zaib Tahir Khaili, Dr Ghazanfar Mehdi, Chairmen Academy of Letters, Iftikhar Arif, Dr Alia Imam and a number of other scholars also addressed the seminar.
Faisal said the bus service between the two cities would start from April 7, for which Azad Jammu and Kashmir government has been given the task to repair the Chakoti bridge.
He pointed out that Indian external minister during his visit to Pakistan has accepted that the LoC is not a permanent boundary between the two countries, however, the minister clarified that only a permit would be used for travelling instead of visa and passport.
Talking about the Baglihar dam, the minister said the matter has been taken to the World Bank, which would play its role as neutral body, adding that decision would be taken according to historical perspective of water treaties between the two countries.
Faisal was of the view that the bus service was not the ultimate solution of the Kashmir dispute, adding it would be instrumental in further strengthening the confidence-building measures and would pave the way for address the core issue.
In his presidential addressed, he appreciated Josh Malehabadi's literatures on Hazrat Hussain's (RA) life, and added that Josh has reflected the real essence of Hazrat Hussain's (RA) great sacrifice.
He further said Muslims need to follow the golden principles of Hazrat Hussain and should take guidance from his great philosophical deed.
